Our East Hampton school is located on route 66, 3 miles from exit 13 off of route 2, less than 10 minutes from the Glastonbury border and close to the Hebron/Marlborough line too. It has been open since January, 2015. Having provided exceptional child care services throughout Connecticut for nearly 30 years, we poured all of that knowledge into its development. Every feature of the facility is a reflection of all of the positive things we have learned about early childhood education over the years.

Interior Features
Come on in and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea at our drink station. Walk down the wide corridors and through our brightly lit classrooms. They’re enormous, by the way, providing much more space than the minimum requirements for CT classrooms. Each one is divided into activity centers that range from Science and Math, to Music and Movement, and from Building and Construction to Literacy and Dramatic Play. All classrooms have tons of natural light and the windows are at just the right height for small bodies! In the center of the school, you’ll find another enormous room; an indoor play space with activities for climbing, balancing, throwing and other large muscle experiences. This room is utilized whenever the weather doesn’t permit outdoor play and it’s also the scene for our Arts and Enrichment classes. In addition, we have a state-of-the-art kitchen and conference room and our front lobby area ensures that you’ll be greeted by one of our administrators each and every day!

Each entranceway is secured by a pin-activated security system. Each family and staff member is assigned a unique access code, ensuring that only authorized individuals may enter the building unassisted. Panic buttons are strategically placed to allow immediate notification to the local police department, if needed. In addition, security cameras in each classroom and playground allow our Directors to continuously monitor activities throughout the center.

Exterior Features
Once construction is completed, Educational Playcare in East Hampton will have 8 playgrounds. That’s right, 8! This is so we can tailor each one to the appropriate age group to which it corresponds. Our infant, toddler and two-year-old classes have direct access to their playgrounds right from their classrooms. We’ll also have a koi pond outside where teachers, children and families will be able to quietly relax and enjoy the serenity of the fish.
